Flipping the 'value-drivers'



Because this process had worked so well, I decided to use some of these factors and some new ideas to bring on the staff to help write the annual plan for 2016.

Staff were given the chance to write the annual plan for 2016 using a range of ways and this proved to be excellent in the way the staff took direct ownership of the process.
I did not want to re write the whole strategic plan as I had just written it in 2014 however I needed to re vamp it and make it easier for people to read and to see where it fits in across the school.

In one of my sessions with Rebecca we spoke about the idea of the Strategic plan being a 1 page representation of the schools strategic plan. I pondered this and did some research of other models. In the past I had used the model ‘more is best’ but clearly I had missed the mark.
